1. Is "weak-up" feature implemented already for SE phones?
2. That timezone bug in SE is annoying :( I got +4 hours in this version, +1 on other. I think there should be an option in jimm for SE phones like "+- X hours" :)

Postby cashee » Tue May 10, 2005 6:42 am

The 6230i (FW 3.23) is running (with shadow-connection) without problems.
File transfer still not supported :( (by phone)
Also wrong time ;-)

Features request :)

Postby Hugo Boss » Wed May 11, 2005 9:22 am

As yours active beta-tester :)
let me ask about very useful feature, not so difficult to implement in new release of JIMM - its backlight activation after recieving a message, for ... seconds (configurable)

If it possible, of course,

Thanks a lot!!!

This Exception is already fixed in CVS. Thx anyway.

What do you mean?

I made automatic backlight control for MOTOROLA build already. What is your phone? I think it will be useful to implement elements of it for other targets.

No, also outgoing traffic is counted. But it is only very little traffic. So you may not notice it.

... and notice that GPRS counter in the phone shows me much more traffic than Jimm's counter.. :( The differences are not so little... :( about 1,5 times...

Thanks a lot!

This is strange then. We could be off by 20 bytes per packet... But this is really strange. Jimm counts every packet with its size and then 40 byte of header (TCP and IP header have each 20 bytes). So the counting of Jimm is more or less correct(sometimes the GPRS header is also counted but I dod not find out how big this one is)

For example, you start chat with person X, Y and Z. Then disconnected from ICQ, exit application, start it again, get connected and contnue to chat with X, Y and Z.. Suddenly you whant to read chat history with person Y, for example...and notice, that chat history is empty (you can see only blank rows, wich can be scrolled up and down), or chat history is missing, while you start JIMM last time. With person X everything OK, may be Z have a promlem...

chat history file about 35kilobytes, by the way. Heap size OK - 650 kilobytes, free spase for storing history OK - 550 kilobytes...
